Deadlines for
Submission of Applications for Approval
For submission of applications, the Protection of Human Subjects Review Board (IRB) has a standard deadline date of the first Friday of every month. An application submitted on the first Friday of the month will be reviewed at that month’s meeting (the IRB typically meets during the 3rd week of the month).
An investigator may request an expedited review of his/her application if the proposed research activity is within one of the categories eligible for expedited review. Applications requesting expedited review may be submitted at any time. The application will be reviewed within ten working days.
